A few stats about Indian Railways will blow out any ones' minds..Like the volume of passengers it carries and the low fare and number of employees in the organisations..
However, There are few things IR is taking people for granted.Simply put it is a pain to travel in IR.
If i have to travel a simple 700 Kms, I need to book tickets in 1 Month advance and even then Im not sure of a confirmed berth
If i have to travel to place like patna from hyderabad,I need to book at least 3 months in advance.
How ridiculous it is..
The cleanliness of stations,compartnments sucks.
And the funda of RAC!.I think no one on a RAC berth ever got a confirmed berth after boarding the train!.How silly, that no one ever cancels their journey after booking tickets!!..
I feel it is high time to ramp up the rail commutation facilities in India. Like identifying heavy volume routes and introduce VERY HIGH SPEED trains..
Japan war ravaged country got HIGH SPEED trains withing <20 years after the war.China has them!.
I feel this change has to happen at the massive pace.

"What can you say?How stupid can I get?.I jumped off a perfectly good plane"!..
I asked the person with whom i was doing the tandem jump?.Who is going to jump first?. He said your friends will jump first. So I was superficially relaxed as I'll see how my friends do it , so that i can be more comfortable. In my mind, I was dead nervous...
Suddenly Evil,said move forward put your arms across your chest and jump. I thought. oh shit. I've to jump first!!!!..For the first time I felt indeed the phrase "heart sinking feeling" is indeed correct.. And I jumped :-) Jumped of a plane!! from 18000 Feet.
The moment i jumped, gravity. 9.8m/s2 was in action!.. I picked up a speed of almost 200 kmph. with a chilly wind gushing across my face. I couldn't feel anything but excitement. All the fue ndas i learnt in school, "Terminal velocity" was the speed at which i was falling down!!
I was FLYING!! :-)..

Raga is a fantastic carnatic singer.Ever since I've known her I always wanted to attend her concert.Now,here is the chance, she got an opportunity to provide vocal support to a leading carnatic singer, Ananth Sarma.
Both of us felt it is a wonderful privilege to share stage with such an accomplished singer of our times.However we were wary of how his wife might spoil our happiness.With a meager knowledge about singing she is used to pampering of all wannabe singers who wanted Ananth Sarma's attention.She even insisted Raga to put a garland around her neck,once Ananth Sarma's felicitation was done.
It was a packed concert,Which started with varanams and lot of expermentation on raagas,and patrons were enjoying and more than any one else I was enjoying live music by Raga.
Looking at a lot of flashes going on there suddenly something flashed in my mind.Raga wanted me to click some photographs of her in her green saree,in which she was looking dashing and was the centripetal force of the event.I called up my brother to fetch a camera.
Once Ananth Sarma was done,He asked Raga to continue the concert .Startled at Ananth Sarma's gesture Raga was about to start. Only if Mrs Sarma had not interrupted and expressed her interest to sing in the event.I was terribly disappointed and angry too. Amidst all the booing and paper cup throwing Mrs Sharma was relentlessly trying, mincing and butchering the song ,while Raga as promised to Mrs Sharma was supporting her with all her modesty.
Swara alapana is the crown part in the carnatic songs,Raga could not tolerate Mrs Sharma butcher the song and took over and sung the swaram ri ri ga ma ri ga ma pa ma ga ma ri sa riiii.............. so fast and so clear and so accurate that the crowd jumped from their seats and burst into applause,Ananth Sarma himself came over and blessed Raga.My eyes became wet,Proud,just to know her.
While I was in parking Raga came to me running with a huge bunch of flowers in her hand

It was as if Music is their property which they have inherited from ancestors.

The Telengana problem:
1.The 9 districts of the telengana region are highly under-developed in terms of HDI and their needs are constantly suppressed by Leaders from other areas.
2.What does it take to make another city like HYDERABAD, which has central University,OU,IIT,IIIT,BITS & 100's of software companies and countless industries & somany central govt organisations.

The complexity:
1.How can we trust the leaders who did not raise their voice when the region was under-developed?.was ill-treated ? but now raise their voice for the power?
2.Hyderabad is a matter of pride for the entire country,just like our homeland every person from AP is proud of the development hyderabad has made till now. No one can digest if hyd is taken away from their hands..
3.with the meagre resources T- region has , can the state sustain?

The solution:
Be it a mistake or wisdom, AP was made inclusive of telengana region.The logic sounds genuine too!.All telugu speaking people ,one state.This eases administratin and wealth of entire state to be equally distributed. Had telengana been a seperate state it would have been much worse now.If some parts of it are still underdeveloped it is sheer of failure of the leaders of that region BUT NOT THAT OF OTHER LEADERS!.
If a local party with 10 MLA's can control the central govt, what was the potential of this party when it had the time of the day !..
My point is , why did Harish Rao or KCR did not do a fast untill death when water from dams were not being used T-regions? why didnt they oppose when the milk from those regions were bought for a lower price? and why did they not go on hunger strike when illiteracy and poverty are at peak in T?
learn from Irom Sharmila from manipur and let us not use the satyagraha or fasting until death a black mail and make it loose its ethical value.
The simple solution is to have a group of judges ,who are clean in their career and make it a constitutional obligation for the MPs and MLAs to live upto the promises . If not followed,they have to be charged with cheating !..
Had this law been enforced,I think each and every region in India would have prospered like anything.I know this ideal!. but when we can introduce some stupid law like ban of smoking in public places and dont know how to implement it. i think this is not a big problem!.

I'm really surprised how the Central Govt. Came down on the demands of a person,Should i call leader who has just 10 MLAs.. And they thought, the genuine demands across the country woudnt come up..
Like JP said, the state has more problems than to focus on drawing lines,We've seen what happened when Jharkhand was made, the Domicile policy etc..
One of my colleagues said, the only difference to an ordinary citizen would be that his number plate gets changed .Thats all..
Had these people concentrated this much on the core problems of the country,I think we wouldnt have fought like this again and again.
While I was thinking...
I thought why not a seperate country for telengana?..After all they have been deprived of the basic amneties that other regions of AP have, for that matter few other parts of country.. Also they were discriminated from other parts of AP.. It is the same congress govt. that was in power for most of the time in State and Centre.. what good it will do, if they still have the power and telengana is just a state in the Indian Union..
My point is when we start dividing where is the end?.In the first place where is this telengana region?.. I think people have to stop discriminating based on regions.. it is not a state for gods sake. and there is no where written about telengana in constitution. If a state has to be made,
1.It must be based on linguistic basis for obvious reasons
2.For administrative reasons, and varied topography
Just(Dont take this literally. applied only for this context) because the govt has neglected a group of districts it is unfair to get seperated!..
What are the MLA's and MPs of these areas doing?.. they are as responsible as their counterparts in other districts?..were they sleeping or were they busy making money ?.If it is underdeveloped it is them who have to be blamed but not the decision that the state to remain united!.
It is not late now , for the leaders to think twice about the problems we are facing and fix the priorites..

I've been waiting for his concert in Hyderabad from quite some time.. Luckily Kalasagaram has invited him here.I managed to convince many people to attend the concert , though those people were apprehensive that "Veena concert" would be very boring, i promised that they will not regret.
Bang!..The concert started with Vaatapi Ganapatim ,and people were spell bound!..oops string bound. It was unbelivable speed matched by perfection.. It is a show of a life time..
Most of the numbers he was playing were known by -heart to me.. Endaro mahanubhavulu,Raghu Vamsa Sudha, Bhagya daalakshmi.. Particulary Bhagya Dalakshmi was unbelievable.. He gave a terrific dimension to the song.
Luckily i managed a get a snap with him... Muhahahaha... :-)

Two of my recent films Ek Niranjan & Arya 2 , Have a tribute to MJ!.. Great great.. Telugu movies... where dance & songs are more important the story,have drawn somuch inspiration from many of his performances..
Good to see these guys pay back a tribute to him.

Back from a wonderful trip to the beach cities.Things I've noticed
Vizag:
1.Beautiful city,very clean , nice people.
2.Driving manners are very very dangerous!.
3.Middle class is very happy.Didnt notice many luxury cars..But there were MANY middle segment cars
4.On Sundays 3/4th of the population is on R.K Beach and rest on Kailashgiri
Puri.
1.People have to be made aware of the happenings outside Puri.People still live in Narasimha Deva's Era.
2.India is poor!.Lot of youth is doing nothing, If you talk hawking the plastic images & fake pearls and pulling a rickshaw ,I see there are many other better things to do
3.Dont people feel disgusting when they chew gutkha?? Almost EVERYONE does it.
4.Every girl has a bicycle,statistically :-)

One fine day.. when I woke up.. I imagined how driving a car would be... And turmoil caused many sleepless nights.. And annoyed many of my friends.when I asked them again and again which car to buy..
Here is how I narrowed down my choice..
1.I have 3 Options.. Maruti,Hyundai,Chevrolet. My obvious choice after using an Yamaha bike for 2 years was to go for a vehicle which is made for India..Although I'm not disappointed with Gladiator..It would've had more fun if it had been a CBZ/Karizma.
So Maruti.Other reasons would be friends complaining less mileage & high cost of maintenance.and low resale value etc etc.. for the other cars..
2.Swift/Ritz/New Estilo
The moment i held the steering of swift ,I instantly loved it. It was an amazingly looking car. Albeit petrol engine is outdated.and diesel one costly.
Ritz is an awesome car,but I had trouble digesting the design.I could not convince myself that it looks good..Although offlate I started liking the looks of it.
New Estilo is average car,but when i did the test drive, it was swinging like wasim akrams ball!.. no stablity for a car of that cost.
That left me in a dilema..The most trusted car on Indian roads.Alto.Bang.
3.My new Alto is here :-))lets go..!!
But I remember the dasvidaniya dialouge.. "Oye pappu pilot.. Agar tu boeing 747 bhi khareedega naa.. tere se nahi patne wali hai!!".. heehehehehe..
Its fun driving a car. especially with A/C on. And with loud Led Zeppelin music !..

New Ten Rupee Coin

Asusual my wallet was empty when I was groping for some change to pay the kid after I got air filled in my Yamaha Gladiators tyres.I realised that I had a brand new 10 Rupee coin ,which I wanted to show to my friends.. :-)
Unfortunately I had to give it away to the kid.He replied saying "Anna,4 rupees"..
I said "That is 10Rupees". I cant describe the happiness i saw on his face!.. It is worth 1Zillion rupees...
This situation held a mirror of what I was some 15 Years back.. The happiness we used to find in every simple things, The paper boats,Book Cricket,The New Jeans,The Kissme Toffee bar,ChandraKantha,Leg Touch.. and there are Infinite moments..
P.S.. I didnt want to see that kid working there... But Life is cruel sometimes.. I hope better life awaits him

My first time to listen to an MLA .Dr.JayaPrakashNarayan..Does society really need to help the underprevliaged.. probably one of the sensible questions..practically speaking "yes". But after you've paid your taxes, does it really make sense to still take some time(prbly money too) to help those who are in need.Very intriguing question..Had some lengthy arguments.. but I'd like to agree with JP that the Governenment rather governments have failed miserably in this aspect..

Had a reason to visit the ISB,Attended a quiz conducted by ASHA foundation,called the ACE quiz.The quiz was too ,too good.. Luckily i managed to answer one question from the audience round.. cool,got a gift voucher at a local book store :-)) Any way my idea of attending quiz is "knowledge"..

Chilkur gudi today

I was supposed to meditate while making 108 pradakshinas in Chilkur Balaji Temple..I had so many thoughts in mind..
1.Utterly disappointed to see large number of people carrying polythene bags to carry coconuts flowers, it is highly disastrous to ecology around the temple, 'coz the area is a small peaceful village with large dependency on cattle & the vicinity of osman sagar lake.
Solution is to stop selling stuff in polythene bags around the temple.. ask people to carry stuff in their hands or supply paper covers.. is any contractor for paper bags listening to this.. i guess it is time for them to do some social service as well as some business..
2.108 Pradakshinas and 100s or 1000s of people all doing in the same small compound of the temple and that tooo with a bottle neck..!.. people keep on pushing and bumping into each other..
perhaps it is time to extend the compound of the temple or if people have objections to it..
make a double decker platform,so divide the people into 2..
make different lanes, with outerlane being the fastest and inner one being slow.. this makes people with different speeds move easily unlike moving at the speed of the slowest
and there should be one lane with a converyor belt for the old people, sounds weird but there are MANY people who want to do pradakshinas there but cannot just because of the rush and the effort.. this will ease out the problem for them..

Been listening to lot of Carnatic music lately!. absolutely divine......it all started when my friend asked me to watch Rudraveena,put the absolutely brilliant script aside . The voice of K.J Yesudas for some classical renditions was awesome..
That followed by me watching a live concert "Carnatic Music Vocal Concert by Yesudas" at Lalitha kala thoranam Hyderabad .. which left tears in my eyes.. knew what was acheivement, and what is talent!.
That followed my friend giving a Carnatic music CD by "M.S.Subbulakhsmi"... I was absolutely speechless.. has taken me beyond boundaries of this world.. I simply regret for not having attended her concert at least once.
While i listen to these great people, We understand the definition of perfection,patience,perseverance..

Irony is of all the people the liquor baron had to auction for it.
Just to quote Oscar Wilde "Who wants a cynic who knows the price of everything ,but value of nothing" (learnt from TZP). I don't know if I'm a cynic or not.
But does a plate,glass and watch that wont work and pair of glasses(not sure if it is just the metal frame) WORTH $1.8 million?. I've some questions here..
Is there any one here buying is his ideals too?
Imagine a person who adopted austerity for his life time,just because his fellow country men/women didn't have enough to wear and eat..
At this heights of the time..when 400 million people are not sure where their next meal is going to come from, is it necessary to bring them back to India at that price?.
Also when Duleep Doshi & Vijay Mallya were the only people to bid for it @ 1 Million why did the price go till 1.8 Millions? when both of them want to bring them back to India and gift it to govt.
What is the big deal to get them back to India?. Just a quote from Lage Rahoo.. "Agar kahi rakhna hai to apne dil mein rakho!"..
where does the question of pride come from? people get confused .."the slumdog and the auction hero both exist here".

The other day, entire hyderabad traffic was choked. Courtesy Mrs.Sonia Gandhi's visit to Hyd..I don't know what difference does it make.. but my life became miserable. it took approx 4 hrs to reach home. 3 buses+ 1 Local train.! to travel 15 kms. Just one day.. so not much to worry about..
I pondering over the thought where one of my friends was mentioning hyderabad people have no traffic sense..no discipline this sense that sense and what not all non-sense..
Why do we dont stand in a 'Q' in MMTS stations are in Bus stands?

1.The frequency of MMTS trains is pathetic.and no one is sure when the train actually comes.
For the kind of traffic,I want the VIPs to travel in the city without traffic restrictions atleast once , I'm sure on any given day they'll get frustrated. I dont understand why they are not concentrating on the alternative traffic movement, when hyderabad population is quite comparable to any other metro in India.
2.There are no announcements at all in the station. just one has to wait till your train comes.. and how lucky we have to share the tracks with other trains.. we just keep running to see if it is the local or some other train?
3. People have no idea where the train stops. I was not really surprised to see in Delhi Metro station that people were standing in a queue. They knew where the Ladies compartment stops and where the general one stops . and much better,they know within how many SECONDS the next train is arriving! .. here no-one knows where it &when it & which one stops.. and where do you want people to stand in queue.. before you form a queue .,when the train comes the train is already gone and you have to wait.. THIRTY minutes atleast for the next one to come.
4.In the bus stands.. Ahh.. people must actually crazy/optimistic to stand in queues . They dont know where the Bus stops?????.. how can any one stand in queue?

The solution is simple
1.Increase the frequency of trains

While I was driving today I got an idea.Just imagine the flashy consoles of various vehicles plying around. Pulsar being the best and fz also second to none.. and many others have awesome panels.
Needless to say about cars, Honda City has got an awesome console..
Can we squeeze a small corner there to add a meter which shows pollution around you?'coz the moment we stop near a signal our engines simply soar and have nothing to do other than emitting Green house gases.
And once you reach home you can be happy to see the amount of less pollution you caused by using efficient practices.:-)
Most people dont know/care/forget or whatever must be enlightened with the numbers they contribute to pollution. Hence making the toughest job in hyderabad more tougher (traffic police).
Just as Tachy gives you the kick and speedo pushes you further, & Fuel indicator cautions you..
The pollution meter makes you RESPONSIBLE..
Just like govt. of AP is asking all of the vehicles to obtain the pollution certificate..it should also ensure the proper functionality of this meter/console unit.

Forgive me dear intelligent,
To me economics is always a puzzle..like theories over what has never existed.
When every one knows it is a bubble, why have every one bloated it still, rather than constraining it?
Today The Hindu pointed.. what is a crisis?. is Dalal Street tumbling a crisis? or 400 million people going to bed starving a crisis?
I think we should put more stringent regulations on the way things can explode beyond peoples' comprehension.. Of course this sounds bit un-capitalistic,and can distrub the people with power (money)
But isn't that in favour of greater good, that each time something of this sort happens everything going hay-wire. I'm deeply sympathizing with the millions of people who are loosing their jobs..(I'm shocked to see we are loosing 800 jobs/minute ) ..
Development means, find people better way of life,this can be done by uncountable ways.
-Invest in science & technology
-Make places clean
-Invest in good infrastructure..
-Have better Health facilities
-Have better education
--now dont tell me that is what people have been doing..I cant comment on that now

wat a fitness freak I've became !! was there in 10k Run at Hyderabad(of course running/waking was < 1 ) I've been looking forward to buy a genuine Sports shoe.. was looking for Nike or Adidas. Which ever shoe I like, it was super costly.. True,even for an IT employee.. when i look for some thing reasonable.. either they had pathetic quality or lack Brand trust.
At this point I feel a greater level of awareness among us towards the importance of fitness..I Heard a colleague at my Gym saying " Saala, Marr bhi jaunga.. lekin dead body pe six pack hona zaroori hain".. and so are my neighbors.. go for walking .. and reasonably controlling the diet..

wat can push this need for fitness further? a good apparel, which is comfortable yet affordable.. with a good brand name..
For eg:Say Hero Honda.. ppl say " Sir,etla nadipina bandi 65 kms/ltr guarantee" .. Affordable,highly reliable. and the most important thing is have good utility..
Wish i had more money,to capture the market.. where I feel there is no clear leader here.. ready for some high prospective Investment??

When prodeus asked sinbad about the journey to Tauturus ,he snapped up with a simple reply "Nothing much,Fair winds and calm seas..".. Well I have so much to say after coming back from Nagarjuna Sagar.. Well i went there on my Bike.just 190 Kms from my home..
After watching MotoGP 2007 , this year and started to adore Valentino Rossi,ofcourse Dying to read,"What if I've never tried it!" .. and also a video of Yamaha biker riding @ 300 Km/hr.. and after i felt a need to take a break.. I headed off for a loong ride.
To my satisfaction the ride was absolutely fantastic..
Just trying my hand at poetry (Doubt if we can call this one :-) )
Where rain washed the roads clean..
and the monsoon painted the trees green
and the power water Stream challenged by Concrete Man-made Dam!.. a Wonder..
and of course the Nature's huge walls made of mountains helping to hold the water!!..
And the ride ,Where the rain chased us,Where we fought the Dragon flies aswell as some idiots' stupid driving..

I watched this crazy Ad on the TV.. and felt ahh.. the poor guy had spent so much money on such silly thing. when launched ,This product was an incredible success.. but who would want to search using some newsearchenginexyz.com when you have Google.
Yeah I was talking abt indiatimes mail, When we have services of Stalwarts like Google and Yahoo. It is a bold decision to make after all.. However,what good does it make??.

People should have guessed what this is by now,for this taking the world by a crazy ride on broomstick!! .. Yes I'm also carried away by it. When i read the First four books, I was so eager about the next books and when i started to read the Fifth one, i had immense Hogwarts headache.

Offlate after almost 2 years,My colleagues have planned for a movie, it was Order of pheonix.. and it coincided with the realease of the book, deathly hallows. This is compounded by my brother buying the book!.

I couldnt wait but read the entire book!!.. All in all it was extremely wonderful feeling,when i was through!!.. I should say this stands in one of the best books I've ever read!.
Finally thanks to JKR for igniting in me, to read books again..and i feel rest of harry potter readers also feel the same way!!

Ah.. My most glorious achievement after my BE, is that I've learnt swimming, of course the main intention was to shred some weight,unfortunately even after one month ,there is not even slight difference,thats what my friends say. To me ,I know I've improved a lot in terms of stamina and most important courage and ability to learn!!
And the best part is I enjoyed it a lot!!!!
Since I've been dormant on blogging for quite some time, one of my friends reminded me to write some thing... i felt ooh yeah... there have been quite so many things happened in recent past, which are significant enough to share..
Most important thing is I got a bike,Gladiator... Yamaha Rocks,Dont ask me why I bought it, is it the looks or the engine or the John Abraham or the mileage or the pick up or Yamaha itself.. one reason is it fits all my parameters and I LOVE IT!!.. and going around on a bike is soooper when the streets are empty.. of course someday I'll write on that at length.. Having fun on YAAAAAAAAAMAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA..

And yes my job, finally i found what i love, and all i need to do is love what i'm doing.. !which involves a long way to go..

One of good things happened after Sania lost in all the Major tournaments was... people got really interested in Tennis.. and my colony, where Cricket rules in almost all the streets.. I hardly find people breaking window panes any more. Rather they are interested in tennis.. Yes.. we have approx 6 tennis courts in my vicinity.
And most importantly it is all the Kids who are interested.. ofcourse the Gen-Next,I saw a small kiddo wearing a short and sleevless and a Racquet hung on his shoulders.. Ofcourse Nadal in the making..

Astrology, in here is mostly in reference with stars and there posistions .To me astrology is not always but most of the times is correct.. ofcourse not so precisely however sometimes it might be closer to truth.
I'm not a person who would take Astrology seriously but you see some times you are bound to belive certain things without any rational explaination..
Here is a reasonable explainataion.. the position of the stars at a particular moment are responsible for variation of the gravitation force at a point and this leads to the " Chemical locha" at that point ( Co-ordinates , x,y,z,t ) and you tend to act accordingly.. so you are bound to behave accordingly.. Silly reasoning but can u prove that this is wrong!!!
Now i was just wondering how precise astrology is , I can now call this as a science , which is closely related to Astronomy!!!

One evening out of a regular conversation , my smoker friend who was pursuing Masters in Wireless communication was thinking what improvements can be made to this mobile phone.?? He thought for a while and said "why not add a lighter to this mobile!!" .. and later he himself said.. "Fuck, this is what a ME Wireless comm . guy could concieve..".. Ofcourse that was not a stupid idea, indeed.... Any idea, which might look deceptively simple could be worth millions of dollars...
However the question is not getting an idea, but try implementing that idea.. and the perfect example is "Newton and the apple, Earth attracts all objects.. what a simple funda.. But everything we do depends on that.!!" ..and many examples till date.. "why not make mobile, where Antenna is not popped outside?".. and "why not sell Ads on email,and make e-mail free?".. the idea is simple though .. all you need is courage and the knowledge to implement..
This thought occurs to me everyday I come home in my Cab, "why not do this? why not do that?"..lets assume that Dreams will find their means , and I might be sucessful.. Yes u can count on me, and invest, this is the rite time .. :-)

Some times i see people who call the Call center and ask wierd questions and expect to get the answer as if the person on the other end is CEO of the org.. "Is this the quality of service you provide??".. ofcourse he is not the owner of the company he too has some limitations and most important thing is they are doing there job... It was an usual monday evening,where people were returning from their office after a tiresome day,where every one was soo tired and wanted to reach home as early as possible, But there were two kids,A boy and a girl who were making a lot of noise,which is annoyance to the people around and the kids did not knew anything about the stress in life ..
All the people were very annoyed now,and they went to his father and tell him, "why don't you tell them to be quiet, they are irritating every one on the compartment" . The kids father silently replied. "What should I tell them, shall tell them that your mother passed away just half-an-hour back and she is no-more, will they understand that??" Oh,that was a story told by my Manager,God forbid no one should ever fall into this situation.. But this was a nice way to tell people ,"Don't be presumptuos".... Every person has his priorites and everyone has a life.. He will do everything which is correct to him.. "You cannot judge someone else,on something which you believe to be correct"-Gone with the Wind.

2006,Asusual a year went by. But this year was not usual... Got a job,and a great change in my personality ,my way of thinking and many more things have changed.. it added some more mass to me.. which increased my inertia,(laziness,thats how my physics lecturer explained me Newton's first law).It gave me great friends,I Saw the capital of India, and Saw the Taj Mahal.It also gave an insight into professional world and explained me work ethics (not sure how much i know)

Last year when Amitabh Bachan was selected as NDTV Person of the year.. Pranay Roy asked him what are your New year resolutions, Amitabh replied agitatedly ,"Pranoy I hate this question... 'coz whenever I've to make a resolution and do something good.Why should it be the new year?". This statement left a great impact on me..However as I told. My inertia stops me from from acting quickly.. So again I thought of making some resolutions.. Most ,I want to keep'em close to my heart..will tell when I've done them.

Of All the things I want to do well is set my priorities well and acheive them by giving my best,and Stay fit and healty,And improve my English Vocabulory by improving my reading habit, And yes My inertia is to be reduced.. lets see.. how well I can do.. Now wish me luck!!!

Was Yahoo Stupid,when Google asked to buy its search technology?, It said "First make it scalable,and why not start your own firm"!!..Now everyone knows What Google is ,and where it stands in the Internet world. When it launched Gmail,it swept the land beneath the feet of Hotmail and yahoo..
I thought google,with its very creative products will constantly improve it's search results.. we all know News,blogger,orkut,spreadsheet,picasa etc.. any thing google does to give a better search results,And ofcourse Google was a huge success.
In the world of searching.. Leave aside factual searches,and Data or Event related searches,which is a major part. However,a major part of searches we make are Questions.. I want to buy a mobile,i ask what is the price of Nokia? or is I-pod better than Zune? or what is the best holiday spot in hyderabad... etc.. Most of my searches are questions.. But the way search engines work, cannot give you accurate results. ofcourse "If you assume that the question is already resolved at some other place,we can get better results."
Say inorder to ask "What is the best Holiday spot in Hyderabad?" . I should ask "Best Holiday spot in hyderabad is ". Ofcourse you get some results generated By some machine ,which implements some algorithm. But if you would ask a Hyderabadi like me .. I would say Gandipet or Imax.. or some reasonable place..
So, Google and Yahoo fought over this, To get "As Many questions as possible,and Get Answers by humans for these questions.. Ofcourse Live.com is also doing this.Don't know how successfull Microsoft is?."Google was innovative and priced the questions ,depending on the priority with which they have to answered. whereas Yahoo formed a community and helped people answer these questions.
Google forgot an important point.. "Internet is a place,where everyone wants something for free,No one wants to pay,Free email,Free community sites,Free Web hosting,Free Mp3 Player etc..".
Yahoo,which is focused and now i realise that "Yahoo knows what it is doing,and definitely a competitor to google any time. ".
Yesterday when i was searching to buy I-Pod or Zune,Yahoo Answers gave 11 answers within 1Hr , Still Undecided what to buy.. Whats ur say??

Ever since the telephone was launched... to my knowledge,all incoming calls are free. When the mobile was first launched,I remember incoming calls were also very high priced..so mobiles are more likely used as pagers... "Get a missed call,and the call the person from a nearest STD booth" . But as time passed, the competition got severe.. and the prices were slashed down very quickly..

But Airtel presents " Song Catcher". which listens any song and matches from its data base, and makes it as your caller tune. Wow!! that is amazingly simple.. And the prices are as low as 1 re/Day.

Now I guess you get the picture,"WE ARE BEING CHARGED FOR INCOMING CALLS ALSO". that too irrespective of how many calls we make.. Nice idea rite,Owner is happy . and customer is also happy as he is getting value for the money he is paying.

Yesterday,I met one of my friends returned from Banglore for a Vacation.. And some how I managed to get tickets to a stupid movie..We three saw the movie and later the best part was we were walking along the necklace road,supposedly the best part of hyderabad... We made phone calls to our mutual friends and were talking to them.. and suddenly a thougt struck to me.. It was from a beautiful movie Dil Chahta hai..It is an awesome movie.. which stood the test of times.
It is a profound statement which is relavent to everone..

When people ask me "where are you from"? I say i'm born and brought up in Hyderabad,however I'm not sure where is Charminar and lad bazaretc.. the noted landmarks for Hyderabad.. Ofcourse I know reasonably well about hyderabad.. Being a chronic Bus traveller,I overlook the route maps to these places...
So ,I was all set to Visit these places,When my friend has a business visitor from The U.K.When we were leaving for charminar, I told my friends that the structure which we are seeing is Salarjung Museum, Ouch, The auto driver said that "that is High Court sir,the one to your left is Salarjung Museum,that consilidated my feeling,that i'm also a visitor to this place!!"
When we came near to the place,it was Simply old, nothing great as i expected... Absolute lack of maintanence.. And the most unfair thing was the entrance ticket was 20 times more for Non-Indians , I was wondering what they would they charge me for entry to "Warwick castle".
Next we went to the adjacent place Mecca Masjid, ofcourse i've never been to a mosque before, but it looked good with all the pigeons flocking and the charminar has a spledind view from this place. And this place stood as a testimonial for the co-existence of the religions in hyderabad.. I thought "who said this is sensitive ,be careful!!!!"
And the next halt was at Salarjung Museum, When i told him that this is the mueseum, he said "Ah! yes, it is largest personal collection by any person in the world".. gosh! i was shocked"Man,this guy is more prepared than us".,,, and our next stop was at Birla Mandir and then to the latest "Hyderabad central"... was a tiresome day overall, i still feel the cramps..

I read some where "linux *is* user friendly but not ignorant friendly".. This statement was really insulting, as i'm a chronic Windows user , and I don't even know how to play a song in linux (ofcourse,when some one mounts a drive I can do that) . So I thought I would see , what is all the hype around this linux ,which is supposedly the competitor for MS-Windows..
So to get started ,I installed Ubuntu,which was given to me by programming gurus at our college,where I was reluctant to install this version ,coz i was reasonably happy with my windows..
Now when I installed this on computer,ofcourse I did not leave my Windows yet,I find no major difference, in terms of Interface or the performance .. and please mind that this is an ignorant speaking..
Now i'd go about learning what is this ubuntu all about,by starting with the philosophy of ubuntu.. coz that is best why to study any thing,where you will get to know ,why some thing is incorporated into it...

It's not that I want to tell that I saw Dhoom 2 ,I saw this movie second time..!!! it's not that it is a great movie ,however it was a coool movie.. I enjoyed the movie through out ,but still it did not live upto the expectations of Dhoom .. where everything was professional and the statement "kuch bhi karenge ,style se karenge " was perfect for the movie..
The second one was more of a ramp walk.. where half the time ,people were walking as if they are on a ramp!!!.. and ofcourse Hrithik roshan stealed the show... the movie was too much indianised with pathetic and very un-situational songs..
Now waiting for Guru...

Bommarillu Again..

Oh!! We wanted to see hardcore Andhra Mass types movie.. Guess what can be a better option other than Stalin. With two of my non-telugu speaking friends,we were all set to see Stalin,Ofcourse it would be second time for me.
It was that moment where we realised that Stalin is somewhere 20 kms far from our place..But my determined friends ,wanted to see Bommarillu,which I insisted that this story oriented movie,with so-many dialogues is not a better option.
I even gave a hint to them abt the friends episode which I like in which he says "Now enjoy the slow death"..
However me, along with my determined friends entered the theatre. This movie was a nice one "ofcourse I never like the instances where people read me like a book" .I guess the context of the movie is quite common every where but to what extent this happens actually matters.. I really enjoyed the light comedy.. however I should really appreciate my friends patience who were there through out the movie..

Long time ago someone told that "if any thing needs to be done today ,do it now. and some thing which needs to be done tomorrow needs to be done today.. other wise you may not get the chance to do it later".. Hmm.. why is this principle applicable to India or entire world??.. why we are running so fast,in order to catch-up somany things.. oh!! By the way.. I should say, we are missing so many other things..

I'm not sure what would happen to the world if Time stops for a while ,as an engineering student,all I can say is Universe looses it's stability .. or i'm not sure if the universe is stable now.. May be earth can collapse into sun.. Uff.. so much to happen.. So I dont want the TIME to become standstill.. I want why can't this happen at a reasonable pace.. ofcourse this has side effects too, may be I can't see a Car which runs at twice the super-sonic speed.. and a ladder to Moon.. I might miss so many things.. However may I ask, are these the only things to watch out for?

"Six for a Man,Seven for a woman,Eight for a Fool"-insaneunknown.. May be I deserve to be called a "higher degree of a fool.." . I've been working in UK timings as a part of my job where my timings usually end at 12:00AM.I thought i'll have all the time of the time of day ,when I started this ..But it is other-way round..Nyways.. I should say i've been busy offlate with my JOB .. Started to enjoy the job..speaking to English people is a nice experiece.. While witnessing the definition of "Offshoring" .. 'coz thats what i've been doing, I seriously wonder abt the way business works.. Telephone,and two s/w's which enable remote connectivity,thats it.. and some people with decent brains.. you get into a multi-million deal to manage the infrastructure of a HUGE organisation...
The latest advancement is I've cleared my first examination ,as of part of my drive to b'come an MCSE.. it is not as simple as I thought.. but is is very much acheiveable..

Out of the blue... I'm not talking about the America & Iraq and I'm also not talking about Google & Yahoo war. It is over MUSIC. Music is some thing which knows no language and it is something which can really take out of this world.The perfect interpretation would be "converting audio signals to digital signals, interpreting the sequence of 1's and 0's as SAREGAME... " and playing with these numbers ,So when a sound with/without some frequencies would be pleasant to hear.
I think BOSE was the first to realize this fact ..And Sony was the first to realise this potential and WALKMAN was the result.. for almost a decade.. Sony ruled this industry ,with virtually no competitors... and if u notice the timeline of the industry,people are entering into this field these days as" better late than never"
Apple ,with Steve Jobs ,the great visionary behind it.. entered the field with a sleek, beatiful and handy I-POD ,to me biggest advantage of i-pod is its audio quality and the beautiful design ,which has always been a part of all Apple products.This finally ended the monopoly of Sony over digital music player... People are gradually forgetting to buy CD-mans and walkmans.. With a commanding success of Apple in this field.. gave a hint to other biggies in this field... and followers are CREATIVE,SAMSUNG,TOSHIBA... and rest..
And now enter the FOLLOWER .. Microsoft,M$
as people call it.. was not afraid of it's late entry ,and also it's inexperience.. asuaual ,the result was a clone of an already successful product,with so-many enhanced features.. the hardisk made by toshiba,the processor by freescale, the software is ONLY by Microsoft,I believe the only thing M$ is counting upon is its 100million dolllars investment in the publicity of ZUNE... Though I haven't seen the ZUNE,i'm quite hopeful that this would be cooool gizmo with nice features.. rather than being just a muzic player like i-pod..
However, now the serious question is what people expect from a coool gizmo... the way nokia,motorola are investing to make their mobiles more of an "music player" rather then just a mobile and the way Microsoft is making their product with a wireless or rather bluetooth connectivity.... it is tough to know at the moment..
Recently a quote by Steve Jobs "I've seen the demonstrations about how you can find another person using a Zune and give them a song they can play three times. It takes for ever. By the time you've gone through all that, the girl's got up and left."

If these people believe , the purpose of a cool gizmo is to win the girl..,i believe it is tough time for a while to determine who can help me win.. will wait and seee...
BTW i'm looking for a reliable,awesome sound quality,and more compatibily, and if it can help me win a girl.. thats an addded advantage....

How the hell is it relavent to me?? . Most of the times, we wonder about "why the hell am I here?", to me the answer is simple ..
Somepoint of time we did something to which this is the consequence....Let me give an example,some times I think why haven't I got admission into IIT? the answer is either I haven't put in right amount of effort to get into IIT or I could not make-up my mind to give-away one more year .. So every moment we have infront of us is a CONSEQUENCE.
As you notice these changes for that particular instant seem to be infinetesimal..But on a long run,These small moments bring a helluva change in the life we lead.. So, I think every moment has to be tuned with perfection if we have to lead a better life.,coz some point of time, if we think "had I done this, or had I not done that .." it would have been very late...

After a momentary thought,I decided to watch Stalin instead of Bommarillu.. No specific reasons though,only one reason.. CHIRANJEEVI .If some one asks me howz the movie?,I would say the movie is terrific,coz I liked it very much and enjoyed the movie through out.
Except for a few moments where you have to forget all laws of gravitation which we learned in our schools,and bear with all the pathetic songs, the movie was excellent,particularly the background score was amazing, I wonder if it is by Manisharma.. and the message it carried out " Help 3 people around you,and ask them to do some help to further 3 people",carry out this recursively.. It was a nice message..
But now thinking about practicality,who would like to be preached?at least not me.. i would do things my own way ,rather than getting preached!!! .. I guess this is the case with most of the people,save few souls who i'm eternally indebted to..for the good work they are doing..
Personally I feel tollywood has to growup a bit more and come-out from the routine,"use the formula which gave success" again and again...

It's been lot of time since I was a student, I always used to think,"when iam working I would be doing creative stuff, this college life.... you are forced to read the subjects which you are not even interested.. "
Now I realise why I miss my college life, simply b'coz in your college,you are the DON of yourself,you can do anything you like , all you need is to pass the exam.. I hope everone thinking my way can easily do that.. But the freedom to do anything is not found anywhere.. So friends,who are still students.. college life is the best place to pursue your passions.. and you would get helluva encouragement to do that..why??? all the major products which are infront of us are a result of college projects.. how many do you think are born out of biggies....????
so, I feel I want to be a part of it again....
P.S: Don't give me crap like , "you can also learn while you earn ,etc.." b'coz when you are doing something ,make sure that you make no mistakes .. haha.. this is also learning from life....

Human brain is no doubt the most wonderful creation on earth.however, unfortunately we have very very less information about brain.I've somany questions regarding this,when I get answers to this,I'll definitely post them.Some,of them might make you think and trigger some more questions... let me know,if you have answers or if you some more similar questions.

what is pattern of information in brain??
when some one asks me a question,or when some incidents happen. i remember all the incidents which are similar to the current situation. when i read a book,i donot remember everything,but when i read for the next time,i know that i've read this already..

Does brain has a GRAPH kind of memory structure where all similar incidents are linked with a sequence number?

Does it have a "Detail" and "Summary" parts to every information object?. so that we immediately remember summary and to recollect the detail we need to concentrate a bit more..

Will brain ever forget any information?can i remember the incidents when i was one year old?

Oh really!!... when I was told that I was posted in noida I was terribly confused ... whether to go to noida or TRY to stay back..I was scared abt this..it was followed by a horrible train journey to collect my certis and then a journey to delhi..there I met a legendary guy..
When I reached the guest house it was an OKAY kind of guest house..I was shocked to see that I was the only guy who can speak telugu in the entire batch!!!. I stayed in Ranchi for 4 years but never felt this b'coz 90% of the time I speak telugu with my friends.
This followed by a confusion or rather a serious question.That whether my domain is a good domain or a just a KUFLI domain,after a serious thought I made a comprimise to continue..
As the time passed by I had a great oppurtunities to meet people,it is really great to be with them.. guys from Chennai,Bangalore,Kashmir,Lucknow.... as time passed by i started to like the job which I got. I was supposed to be a server administrator..ofcourse this has two parts,one is like every one can do it.. one is really challenging and you have to be good in somany domains,and helps you to learn different technologies.so Iam happy.
NOW IAM BACK TO HYDERABAD.It is great to be back......
